Adventure Water Play Park @ Cotton Tree Maroochydore 2010

Maroochydore’s Cotton Tree Aquatic Centre underwent a major upgrade during the winter 2010 with the installation of an Adventure Water Play Park. Ozcrete was contracted by Swimfit to construct a new play pool with water toy facility’s. The pool equipment was imported from Waterplay Solution Corp in Canada.  We have included photos of the new park and two videos showing the state of the art park in operation. The park was opened the second week of spring school holidays to a crowd of energetic and happy children. We have to admit this was one of our more unusual constructions but it went forward without a hitch and opened with rave reviews.

Manly Swimming pool November 2009

Ozcrete was engaged by Brisbane City Council to undertake the construction of a new 25 x 19m wet edge pool at the Manly Swimming Pool Brisbane. The pool was constructed to FINA specifications and finished in METZ tiles. The project works included plant, building and pool demolition. Earth works, Screw piles, construction of new pools, building structures, finishing's and fittings, supply and instillation of pool water treatment plant, water play toys, lighting, electrical and shade structure. Final site cleaning and landscaping. The project commenced late June 09 and was completed in November 09 without incident. Tallebudgera Creek Tourist Park May 2009

New fully heated free form pool with beach and children's wading pool. The pool supports 2 water slides and an expansive beach area falling in too a water storage tank under concourse thus allowing water catchment in the rainy season. Its retuned too the filters for sanitization and retuned too the main pool. The play pool is furnished with custom designed pool toys commissioned by Ozcrete from the local market. Ozcrete was the primary contractor for the entire project only sub contracting out a number of smaller tasks not handled internally.

Killcoy Aquatic Centre QLD March 2008

Killcoy Aquatic Centre project consisted of 3 new pools each with shade structures, pool play equipment, disabled hydraulic lift and access ramps. The project consisted of design and construct of 25 x 13 wet edge lap pool, 16 x 8 cool down wet edge pool both fully finished in with the Metz's tiling system, and a 14 x 6 Leisure pool with extensive pool play equipment. Ozcrete undertook all civil earth works for the site. And supply and installed all water filtration systems.

Russell Island Redland Bay QLD 2007

Ozcrete was contracted as the primary contractor to construct two new pools and amenities building for the new Russell Island pool complex. This is a new pools consisted of a 25 x 12 wet edge lap pool with Metz tile band and a 9 x 5 wading pool with pool play toys, as well as all the centres amenities including shade structures, kiosk, and toilets and shower facilities. Construction commenced on Aug 2007 and was completed in Nov 07.

O'Reilly's Rainforest Guesthouse QLD Nov 2007

25x 6m 1.2 deep recreational pool and spa on bored piers on the edge of the mountain overlooking Mt Warning with infinity edge feature, this required extensive foundations to be built by Ozcrete. The job was completed on budget and on time. Ozcrete supplied and installed the water treatment plan and equipment and finished the pool with glass mosaic tile band.

Clem Jones Sports Centre Carina QLD May 2007

Ozcrete was responsible for the design and construction of the new 25 x 19m wet edge swimming pool on screw piles and filtration system. The cost saving with the new design from Ozcrete allow the pool to be fully titled with the Metz tile system.

Noosa Aquatic Centre Noosa QLD September 2006

Ozcrete was primary contractor for the construction of the new fully tiled 25 x 18 m heated outdoor FINA compliant pool. Ozcrete was responsible for all associated works: sub excavation, pool construction and Metz tiling, drainage, supply and fitting water treatment plant and equipment, heating systems and final landscaping. This project was started on the 23/4/2006 and finished on the 17/9/2006.

Fitness First Health Club. Robina Gold Coast March 2005

Ozcrete was the primary contractor for the construction on piles of the 20m heated indoor wet deck lap pool. This covered surveying and setout of the pool in accordance to engineered plans, form work and boxing, setting of all penetrations, concrete spraying of pool shell, and balance tank, supply and installation of all plumbing and filtration systems including pumps and chemical dosing equipment, Metz Tiling system and wet deck edges and final hand over. This project was started on the 2/1/2005 and finished on the 17/10/2005.

Indooroopilly State School. Indooroopilly Brisbane March 2003

Ozcrete sub contracted to Qbuild for the construction of the new 25m wet deck swimming pool. This covered removal of the old pool, surveying and setout of the new pool, site management, excavation, underground storm water plumbing, formwork, steel fixing, concrete spraying of pool shell, and balance tanks & placement of concrete for all the concrete concourse and surrounding concrete areas, tiling pool water line tiles, wet deck tiles and grates, supply and fit ladders and lane rope holders, supply and installation of the all pipe work to the filter and earth bonding. This project was started on the 7/2003 and finished on the 10/2003.

Coorparoo State School. Coorparoo Brisbane March 2003

Ozcrete sub contracted to Qbuild for the construction of the new 25m wet deck swimming pool. This covered surveying and setout of the pool, site management, removal and stockpiling the top soil from the oval, construction of a gravel road way to carry the trade vehicles and trucks during construction, excavation, underground storm water plumbing, including pit and head wall, formwork, steel fixing, concrete spraying of pool shell, and balance tanks & placement of concrete for all the concrete concourse and surrounding concrete areas, tiling pool water line tiles, wet deck tiles and grates, supply and fit ladders and lane rope holders, construction of concrete starting blocks, supply and installation of the all pipe work to the filter, landscaping, construction of a core filled retainer wall, relocation of existing shade structure and earth bonding. This project was started on the 7/1/2003 and finished on the 9/5/2003.

Ozcrete was contracted by QBuild to build the 8 lane 25m wet deck swimming pool. Ozcrete was again the primary pool builder managing the construction of the pool. This covered surveying and setout of the pool, excavation, underground storm water plumbing, including pit and head wall, formwork, steel fixing, concrete spraying & placement, tiling, paving, supply and fit ladders and lane rope holders, supply and installation of the plumbing, filtration, chemical dosing equipment, landscaping and fencing. This project was started on the 17/10/2001 and finished on the 12/1/2002.

Lavarack Barracks Redevelopment. Townsville Nov 2000

QBuild contracted Ozcrete to build 6 swimming pools for the redevelopment of the Lavarack Barracks. Ozcrete was the primary builder undertaking all aspects of the construction. This covered all excavation, setout, steel fixing, concrete spraying & placement, tiling, paving, application of the interior finish, supply and installation of the plumbing, filtration and safety fencing. This project was started on the 23/11/2000 and finished on the 13/5/2001.

Jimboomba State Primary School. Jimboomba Aug 1999

Ozcrete was contracted by Ron Whitfort to build the Jimboomba State Primary School 25m wet deck pool. Ozcrete’s responsibility was for the construction and finishing of the pool shell, this entailed all excavation, setout, steel fixing, placement of construction joints, concrete spraying & placement, tiling, installation of the plumbing and drainage. This project was started on the 30/8/1999 and finished on the 23/12/1999.
